2022年7月17日，中印两军在莫尔多/楚舒勒接见会面点印方一侧举办第十六轮军长级谈判。两边在3月11日谈判基础上，以建设性和前瞻性方法持续讨论推进处理中印鸿沟西段实控线区域有关问题。两边以两国领导人重要一致为指引，坦白深化地就尽早处理剩下问题交换意见。两边重申，处理剩下问题有助于康复中印鸿沟西段实控线区域的平和安定，推进双边关系开展。在此期间，两边同意保护中印鸿沟西段安全安稳，持续亲近坚持交际和军事途径交流对话，尽早就处理剩下问题达到两边都可承受的计划。<\/p>

China-India Corps Commander Level Meeting<\/strong><\/p>
The 16th round China-India Corps Commander Level Meeting was held at Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on the Indian side on 17th July, 2022. Building on the progress made at the last meeting on 11th March, 2022, the two sides continued discussions for the resolution of the relevant issues along the LAC in the Western Sector in a constructive and forward looking manner. They had a frank and in-depth exchange of views in this regard, in keeping with the guidance provided by the State Leaders to work for the resolution of the remaining issues at the earliest. The two sides reaffirmed that the resolution of remaining issues would help in restoration of peace and tranquility along the LAC in the Western Sector and enable progress in bilateral relations. In the interim, the two sides agreed to maintain the security and stability on the ground in the Western Sector. The two sides agreed to stay in close contact and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and work out a mutually acceptable resolution of the remaining issues at the earliest.<\/p>
